A Fraxel Laser skin treatment:
Fraxel is uniquely designed to create thousands of microscopic thermal spots. These spots form vertical columns of treated skin tissue that are separated and surrounded by unaffected and healthy skin.
This innovative approach allows us to treat only a small fraction of skin at a time, so it heals much faster than if the entire area were treated at once. In contrast to ablative laser therapies, Fraxel Laser treatment creates new epidermal skin in the treatment zones within 24 hours.
Safe and effective, the Fraxel laser is cleared by the FDA and has undergone extensive testing in the lab and out in the field. Expect one to two treatments to reduce pigment patches, four treatments to reduce wrinkles, and up to six treatments to reduce acne scars.
Microneedling is a treatment that’s taken the country, the state of Iowa, and Infinity patients by storm. It’s fast. It’s effective. It’s virtually pain free. There is no down time or post procedure care.
What does it treat?
The MicroNeedling works to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, stretch marks and pigmentation. Because it does not use light or heat energy like a laser treatment does, it is especially useful for darker-skinned patients who may experience hyperpigmentation from laser heat or light.

Advanced MicroNeedling is a more aggressive procedure for patients with deeper wrinkles or scars or who want accelerated and amplified results. This treatment requires a day or two of social downtime. MicroNeedling is a method of introducing a controlled wound into the skin, triggering a release of natural growth factors, new collagen and elastin. The procedure can be used on all skin types to address a variety of concerns, but is especially helpful for deep wrinkles, lip lines, stretch marks and acne scars. Most all areas of the body can be treated, unless your provider determines otherwise. Filler patients with deep lip lines may want to consider adding this treatment to their injectable filler appointments to achieve the benefits of volumizing and resurfacing in one convenient appointment.
Platelet Rich Plasma is a breakthrough in skin rejuvenation. It uses one’s own plasma to rejuvenate and reverse the signs of aging. Many have likened it to discovering the fountain of youth. Best of all, Platelet Rich Plasma, known as PRP, uses only your own plasma to restore youthful tone and texture.
How does PRP work?
PRP is created by drawing a small amount of blood from a patient – just like a typical blood draw for lab testing – and separating the blood components in a centrifuge system. The clear yellow plasma containing platelets and proteins is separated from the red blood cells. During this process, the platelets are concentrated. This “liquid gold” is microneedled or injected into the skin for rejuvenation. PRP treatments offer significant improvements in the skin’s texture and help with color, hydration, wrinkles, stretch marks, and scars.
Platelets are our body’s natural reservoir of growth factors. When concentrated and injected into the skin, the contents of the platelets stimulate the body’s natural healing response.
There are two ways PRP can be administered. First, PRP is applied topically to treated skin during a microneedling treatment. The needle channels allow the PRP to penetrate the skin, resulting in increased collagen and elastin.

Microneedling is a procedure in which tiny (invisible to the naked eye) micro-injuries stimulate new collagen production and skin cell renewal. The skin’s repair process results in a thicker dermis with an overall improved appearance, softer tone and texture.
Automated microneedling also creates superficial, microscopic channels, which allow topical gels, creams and serums to be absorbed more effectively into the skin.
