Infinity Skin Care is pleased to add new, FDA Approved Restylane® Kysse to its extensive lineup of Injectable Fillers. Restylane® Kysse was designed specifically to add natural-looking volume to the lips and to correct wrinkles around the upper lips (known as lip lines or perioral lines). What makes Restylane® Kysse unique is its XpresHAn Techology™, which provides instant results that look and feel natural, and last up to one year.
“Restylane® Kysse is the third filler from Galderma to feature XpreHAn (pronounced expression) Technology. This grouping also includes Restylane® Refyne and Restylane® Defyne. Restylane® Kysse provides a great balance between structure and flexibility, which makes it an injectable filler that looks and feels very natural,” explains Kimberly Schulz, MD.
“We never want our patients to look like they’ve ‘had something done,’ and Restylane® Kysse is another great way we can help patients in their 20s or 30s to enhance their youthful lips or help patients in their 50s and 60s to restore lost volume due to the aging process. In both cases, the results won’t look overdone or unnaturally inflated,” continues Dr. Schulz.
When injecting filler, Dr. Schulz and her medical team utilize a specialized cannula technique. A cannula is a tiny, thin, flexible tube that can be used as a tool to administer dermal fillers and Sculptra® Aesthetic. Dr. Schulz has been using them for quite some time and trains other physicians at clinics across the country on this advanced injecting technique. “I use micro-cannulas to help recreate and revolumize the natural contours of the face. They are particularly useful for tear troughs, lips and around the eyes, and cannulas greatly help to minimize bruising,” says Schulz. Infinity patients and staff have commented on the added comfort the cannulas provide during the actual procedure.
Dr. Schulz and her extensively trained nurse injectors offer patients a complete selection of injectable fillers to add youthful volume to the various features of the face and will customize the combination of fillers used based on a patient’s age, facial structure/bone and volume loss, and desired outcome.
